Fifth Water - Trail #15

The lower trail from the Three Forks trailhead to Sheep Creek road #051 is a very popular trail receiving year round use. The trail follows Fifth Water Creek, and some sideslopes may be steep (mountainbikers should travel with care). If hiking in the summer, be sure to bring plenty of water. There are several small waterfalls at the eastern end of the trail near the Sheep Creek trailhead.
The upper trail from the trailhead at Sheep Creek road to Dip Vat road #518 receives much less use. From the Sheep Creek trailhead, the first 0.5 miles is along a road
The upper trail is open to motorcycles. The Sheep Creek road (#051) is closed in winter, but can be accessed by snowmobile.
Directions: From Spanish Fork Canyon (U.S. Highway 6), turn north at Diamond Fork road #029. This turn-off is about 6 miles east from the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon.
